Cal Ripken Jr has been adopted! By a lovely couple, Lisa and Joe, who live on a peaceful farm in NH. I am so happy for him- they are both experienced rescuers, and know that there will be an adjustment period- but are committed to giving Cal the life he deserves. YAY for Cal! And YAY for Lisa and Joe for caring enough about Cal to map sure that he last years of his life are the best ones. But I miss him already!
Well, I made it to my new home in Stoddard NH.I slept most of the way and enjoyed the wind in my face.First thing I did when I got to my new forever home was walk around my new outdoor playground, it took me awhile. I had a lot of ground to cover and my nose only works so fast.
ReplyDeleteWhen it was time for bed we went upstares and I found my veryown bed. I was a little nervous so Lisa and Joe let me sleep with them. I snuggled all night and felt safe! ;-)
Today I get to meet my new big brother...I'm a little nervous... I hope he likes me!!!! I cant wait to play in the woods with him and go on adventures.
As soon as Lisa can figure out how to post pics you will be able to see how happy I am.
well got to go pick up my brother Quigly so I'll talk to you later.
